Chris is Director of Regional Skills Planning and Sector Development at Skills Development Scotland and leads the Regional Skills Planning, Sector Development and Evidence and Impact teams. Chris has 30 years’ experience in economic development, labour market and skills policy. Prior to joining SDS he was Director of SLIMs – a regional labour market observatory - and has worked for UK and International consultancies.
Chris is also a member of the Board of Management of the Energy Skills Partnership. He was previously a Board Member at the South of Scotland Economic Partnership at the Economic Development Association of Scotland (EDAS)
Chris is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde and was awarded a 1st Class Degree in Town Planning.
