Two University Information Days to be held at the Falkirk and Stirling Campuses will provide Forth Valley College students with all they need to know about applying to courses in Higher Education.
The events will take place on Tuesday 18 October in the Falkirk Campus Antonine Suite, from 10am – 2pm, and on Wednesday 19 October at the Stirling Campus Foyer, also from 10am – 2pm.
A total of 10 Universities will be attending over the two days: Abertay, Aberdeen, Open University, Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh Napier, Stirling, Glasgow Caledonian, Robert Gordon University, the University of the West of Scotland, and Queen Margaret University.
These events are aimed to increase students’ awareness of undergraduate opportunities, and the main articulation routes into degree courses. This is an ideal opportunity for students to find out more about university courses that they may wish to apply for, or plan for their future learning.
Lisa Baxter, FVC’s University Partnerships Officer, said: “Attending one of the University Information Days is an ideal opportunity for students to find out more about university courses which they may wish to apply to via UCAS, or to research their future learning options in general. University staff will be on-hand to provide information and answer any questions. Simply come along between 10am and 2pm, pick up a few prospectuses, and chat with staff if you want to.”
