Exciting summer clubs at Forth Valley College will kick off in early July providing children between 10-15 years of age with a range of fun and interesting things to do during their holidays.
The Falkirk and Stirling Campuses will be the venues for a fantastic mix of hands-on practical workshops and project-work, led by a combination of lecturing staff, alumni and industry experts.
The summer clubs will open up a whole new world to young people who want to learn new skills, make lasting memories and meet new friends. They are a fun and inspiring way to spend part of their school holidays.

Art & Design Summer Club – Join in for a vibrant week of creativity at FVC’s Art and Design Summer Club! Open to budding artists and designers aged 10-15, this week-long adventure runs from 9am to 4pm, at the Stirling Campus from 8-12 July.
Explore your artistic talents with a range of fun activities including Plaster Casting, Potter’s Wheel, Clay Hand Building, Drawing, Painting, Fabric Crafts, and Collage.
Unleash your imagination and create masterpieces under the guidance of experience college staff. The week will be wrapped up with a creative exhibition – showcasing pieces produced throughout the week. Parents and guardians will also have the opportunity to attend the exhibition.

Baking & Art Summer Club - This is a highly practical course for young creatives and is delivered in our state of the art studios and kitchens at our Stirling Campus during 22 July – 26 July.
A range of Art activities will be explored every morning throughout the week in our state of the art studio environment. Participants will be encouraged to explore their creativity at their own level in a structured, supportive environment, learning new skills and creating work they can take home.
The students will then have lunch* and in the afternoon will swap mixing paint for mixing ingredients to be creative in the kitchen, baking a range of sweet and savoury delights and learning about how a kitchen works.
*Please note that young people will be supervised over lunch times and sessions will be: Morning 9am-12noon and Afternoon 1-4pm. Cost £100.
STEM - supported by INEOS (Summer School) - The week will follow a similar format to previous years and will run from 5-9 August at our Falkirk Campus. It will include a fantastic mix of hands-on practical workshops and project -work, led by a combination of lecturing staff, alumni and industry experts. There is a ten hour written project to allow entry to the Bronze Crest Award.
Topics such as Climate Change, Net Zero and Renewable Energy will continue to be a focus for the activities and project work. A hugely popular summer club, it is worth noting that since it began in 2016, more than 90 young people have taken part in a range of STEM learning activities and had an opportunity to achieve the Crest Bronze Award – which is a fantastic outcome.
