Forth Valley College Principal Dr Ken Thomson is set to take up a role on the board of the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA).
Dr Thomson officially began this new role on Sunday 1 July and brings 25 years of valuable experience and insight from the Further Education sector with him to one of Scotland’s most important education bodies.
Dr Thomson, said: “I am excited to take up this new role with the SQA and look forward to using my experience of being Principal of Forth Valley College to help enhance their work in the months to come. I see this opportunity and invitation to work with the SQA as an endorsement of the great work that goes on here at Forth Valley College and how our Making Learning Work ethos has impressed the influencers at the highest levels of Scottish education.”
