A delegation of senior employees from Russian firm Sibur - one of Europe’s top petro-chemical companies – visited Forth Valley college this week ((Monday 14- Wednesday 16 March)
The delegation were given a tour of the state-of-the-art engineering facilities at Forth Valley College’s Falkirk Campus. They also took part in several workshops and classroom observations which showcased the College’s Modern Apprenticeship delivery model and the range of disciplines available.
Additionally the delegation were taken on a number of site visits to Forth Valley College’s industry partners. Finally the group were treated to a tour of the College’s picturesque Stirling Campus and enjoyed lunch at the unique Gallery Training restaurant, which boasts stunning views of the Ochil Hills, the Wallace Monument and the River Forth.
Forth Valley College Principal Dr Ken Thomson, said:

We are delighted to show them our state-of-the art oil and gas training facilities and to have the chance to showcase our own expertise in this industry. We hope this could be the start of a long and fruitful relationship between Sibur and Forth Valley College."
