Forth Valley College welcomed an unusual visitor to the Stirling Campus recently, when ‘Sammy the seal’ popped up to say hello!
Creative Industries Technician Trevor Griffin spotted Sammy chasing salmon in the River Forth and managed to grab this great snap. We’re sure our new friend would give the seal of approval for the pan-seared salmon with roasted red pepper and prawn risotto, which is on the Christmas menu on offer at our Stirling Campus Gallery Restaurant.
Trevor, said: “I was down by the river photographing some landscape snow shots, when Sammy the seal made a guest appearance, it was looking the other way when it surfaced and I had to cough loudly to get its attention, which seemed to work for to achieve the photograph.”
