Beauty Therapy students at Forth Valley College’s Alloa Campus showed off their techniques at an open day recently (Thursday 18 April).
Around 20 City and Guilds Level 3 students organised the event as part of their course and promoted the variety of treatments on offer at the salon based at the campus.
On display were demonstrations of the muscle toning technique Body Faradic, Holistic Indian Head Massage, back, neck and shoulder massages, eyebrow techniques and nail filing and polishing. A raffle was also held and all funds raised from that and the £2 minimum donation for treatments, went to the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust charity.
Lecturer Liz Foran, said: “I am very proud of what they have achieved with this event, they are such a good group and they work really well as a team.”
