Refreshers Fairs 2018
Refreshers fun

Students at Forth Valley College have a  renewed spring in their step after the Student Association held three Refreshers events this week at the Stirling, Alloa and Falkirk Campuses (6, 7 and 8 February respectively).

The events – which this year had the theme of Community - aimed to promote health and well-being and also help students to develop employability and life skills.

They were planned by the Student Association and the Student Services Team in order to welcome new students who joined the college in January and also to give existing students a boost as they progressed with their courses.

There was also the opportunity for students to de-stress and have a bit of fun with competitions and prizes.

Alan Buchan, Forth Valley Student Association President, said: “All the events have been great again this year. Students have been enjoying what was on offer and interested in the stalls and campaigns we are currently involved in. There were a lot of good opportunities for students throughout the week and we think they will have benefited from the organisations who were exhibiting this week.

“The events also focused on developing employability and life skills which will be really important for our students over the next few months as they consider their next steps.”
