An event to promote the range of flexible learning courses on offer at Dunblane Library, will be held on Monday 25 March, between 2-4pm.
Forth Valley College are offering local people the chance to learn basic IT skills, update existing ones and work towards a recognised qualification with courses including Basic Computing Skills, Microsoft Office and the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).
Heather McCorkindale FVC’s Flexible Learning Assistant, said: “Flexible Learning continues to work in partnership with Stirling Council in the promotion and the facilitation of several IT courses within the community. To be able to assist learners with their own personal achievements, whether it is helping them to move on in their career or learn new skills, is fundamental in today’s world as technology moves at such a fast pace.
“Through the ‘Flexible Learning Department’ in Forth Valley College, we offer a wide range of IT courses in a community setting where students can come on a weekly basis and learn a new skills or update existing ones. These skills will be beneficial to anyone wishing to brush up on their IT skills – especially with a view to seeking employment at some point in the future.”
