NextBike’s cycle hire scheme station at Forth Valley College’s Stirling Campus has now been up and running for nearly 18 months and has proved to be a success.
There are currently 51 members signed up from Forth Valley College alone and they have contributed to the 500 rentals registered for the campus cycle station. Overall NextBike have seen more than 7,000 rentals since the scheme was introduced in Stirling. Staff and Students can sign up to the scheme and receive free membership, as this cost is covered by the College.
Look out for more news about NextBike over the coming weeks. Free trials of the bikes will be available at the Cycling Festival which is taking place at the campus on Thursday 28 April, when the Stirling Cycle Hub will be in attendance to offer advice and guidance on cycling.
