Forth Valley College’s Student Association has scooped two awards at the prestigious NUS UK Conference held in Birmingham on July 4.
They won the top prize of Union of the Year and also the gong for Representation and Campaigning.
Liam Williams new FVSA Student President, said:
"It’s a privilege to be part of a team that has won these two awards. It’s my hope as the new student president, to this year see the team celebrate and continue their great work and efforts in order to see and maintain this wonderful standard of achievement and look ahead to 2019."
Angela Muirhead, FVC Student Liaison Officer, said:
"We are absolutely delighted as a team to win these awards and it is a credit to the work of our officers, staff and students do across the College.”
Dr Ken Thomson, Principal of Forth Valley College, said:
