Forth Valley College welcomed Martyn Day MP for a tour of the new Falkirk Campus recently (Monday 17 February).
The SNP Member of Parliament for Linlithgow and East Falkirk accompanied by his partner Nidhin Chand, were given a tour of the new building by FVC Principal Dr Ken Thomson.
Martyn Day MP, who also met members of staff and representatives of the Forth Valley Student Association (FVSA) on the day, said: “Absolutely delighted to see first hand the new facilities. This is without a doubt a state of the art learning environment. The Falkirk Campus is a valued part of our community, and I look forward to working with Forth Valley College to back Initiatives such as the Falkirk Growth deal and supporting local business and industry across the district.”
Dr Ken Thomson, said: “It was great to show Martyn around the new campus. He has been instrumental at supporting the economic development of the Falkirk area and it was nice to show him how Forth Valley College and our new facilities will be able to offer cutting edge educational and vocational training, to help continue this development in the coming years.”
