Training at the Alloa Campus gym is toughening up a team of Forth Valley College staff members who are preparing for the MacTuff endurance race at the beginning of January.
The 10 strong group – named the purple Muddy Runners – will be taking part in the event at Knockhill in Fife on the 8 January 2017 and hoping to cover between13-15 kilometres and more than 45 obstacles on the way.
Alloa Campus Gym Assistant, Steve Fleming – who is also taking part in the run, said: “This is an endurance race, which takes into account mental and physical fitness and obviously will power. The staff have been training well and I am sure they will all put in a great effort on the day.”
The FVC team consists of: Evelyn Burgees, Steve Still, Steve Fleming , Stephen Mitchell, Laurence Ferguson, Colin Kirk, Raymond Evenden, Claire McLaughlin, Jen Hogarth and Laura Hutton.
