Second year pupils from Larbert High School were treated to a tour of facilities at Forth Valley College’s Falkirk Campus this week.
The 16 strong group - known as ASPIRE - and their teachers visited the College on the morning of Tuesday 24 January and were greeted by Curriculum Managers Stuart Taylor and Dougie Ross from the Department of STEM and Construction, where the tour was focussed.
Stuart Taylor, said: “It’s always a pleasure to showcase all that Forth Valley College has to offer, in particular our new Falkirk Campus STEM and Construction facilities. Many of the S2 pupils attending the tour are undecided about future courses and careers. Hopefully Dougie and I have convinced them that their local College is a great option and have given them a better understanding of what STEM and construction can offer as they progress to S3.”
Dougie Ross, said: “It’s great to see such a vibrant and interested group of pupils come in to see our facilities and find out about the opportunities and career avenues that are open to them here at Forth Valley College.”
