IOD members can now access meeting space at FVC

Top Scottish business directors will be able to plan their next moves in style at Forth Valley College’s Stirling Campus.

The Making Partnerships Work initiative will allow members of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland to reserve meeting space for up to four people and take advantage of the facilities on offer.

The £29million state-of-the-art campus is known for its stunning views to the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and the Ochil Hills, making it one of the most picturesque environments to learn and work in Scotland.

Open from 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, and based in the heart of Scotland the campus could be the ideal place for business owners, executives, directors and managers to get their deals done. Access to free on campus parking and free Wi-fi as well as the catering and dining facilities, also enhance the offer being made to members of the IoD.

David Watt, Executive Director of IoD Scotland said: “We are very pleased to be partnering with Forth Valley College to provide business facilities for our members. The newly launched Central Scotland Group will be a place for leaders from all sectors across the area to come together and play a greater part in encouraging investment, ensuring we don’t lose skills, and making sure investments in the local infrastructure facilitate gains to productivity. Having this space for them to conduct meetings right in the heart of Stirling will be a great way to support the work these leaders will be doing.”

Dr Ken Thomson, Principal of Forth Valley College, said: “We are very pleased to be forming this exciting partnership with the Institute of Directors Scotland. Our Stirling Campus is alive with creativity and positivity. I am very keen to promote the campus as a business hub with access to our excellent hospitality facilities and the Gallery Restaurant.”
