NC Early Education and Childcare students welcomed pupils from Raploch Primary School to an informative workshop recently at the Stirling Campus.
A total of 16 primary five pupils visited on Thursday 7 February and were given a tour of the simulated nursery and the simulated hospital ward. Discussions, led by the students, focussed on the jobs they are hoping to secure once their training is complete.
The youngsters were also told of the skills and qualities that would be needed to enter into the Early Years industry, before they got their hands dirty with a practical dough making session.
Lecturer Barbara Johnstone, said: “Raploch Primary School asked for our help regarding a Developing the Young Workforce week they were having. Our students were brilliant with the pupils and it was a very successful visit!”
