Delegates from across Central Scotland flocked to FVC’s Falkirk Campus for the Forth Valley Third Sector Conference recently.
More than 200 people attended the event – organised jointly by Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise, CVS Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Third Sector Interface (CTSI) - on Tuesday 13 February where the main speaker welcoming the delegates was John McNally MP for Falkirk.
The theme for the conference was “People Make Communities” and the day provided a wealth of information through key note speakers, 12 workshops and a panel discussion. It is the first time all three organisations have hosted a Forth Valley Third Sector Conference for all their members and partners.
Forth Valley College’s Hospitality Department provided refreshments and lunch for the delegates.
Karen Herbert, CEO of CVS Falkirk, said: “By collaborating together, we three third sector interfaces aimed to make the day much more valuable for the Forth Valley third sector than if we had done so separately. We are incredibly grateful to our speaker John McNally, our afternoon panel members, all our facilitators and Forth Valley College who helped us make the Forth Valley Third Sector Conference a reality and a success for the third sector.”
