Forth Valley College has been shortlisted for a prestigious College Development Network (CDN) Marketing Award.

This year’s Marketing Awards will be held at a Gala Dinner at Ghillie Dhu in Edinburgh on Thursday 9 March, 2017 – the annual event celebrates the many communications and marketing projects and initiatives taking place in colleges the length and breadth of Scotland.

FVC will be competing against City of Glasgow College and New College Lanarkshire for the Students’ Award for Website. Forth Valley College also received a bronze award in the same category last year and won the top prize in 2015.

FVC’s new mobile responsive website was launched on 29 September 2016 – which has enabled the College to streamline its online presence and offer an enhanced user experience.

Principal of Forth Valley College Dr Ken Thomson said:

“We are absolutely delighted to have been short-listed for this CDN award, especially as it is the category that is chosen by a panel of students. We have a passion for making a real difference to our learners and it’s fantastic to have this recognised throughout the sector with this nomination.”
