A Chinese delegation visited Forth Valley College’s Stirling Campus recently to find out more about heritage and conservation.

The eight strong group from Henan Province – were joined by Stirling Council Provost Mike Robbins as they toured the state-of-the-art hospitality facilities and were also particularly interested in the vocational partnership with Historic Environment Scotland and the specialised workshops based at the campus.

Forth Valley College staff who led the tour included Bob Armstrong Head of FVC’s Business Department, Craig Anderson Business Development Coordinator in Hospitality and Salon Services and Andrew Campbell International Development Manager.

Andrew, said:

“We were honoured to welcome this prestigious and influential delegation from the Henan Provence in China. They were very impressed with what they saw and we hope to do work together in the future in offering their workforce specialised courses, as they have many historic temples and ancient architecture sited in their region.”
