Hugh Hall the Chair of Forth Valley College has congratulated the College for winning another sector leading UK TES Further Education award.
The College was presented with the award for ‘Best Teaching and Learning Initiative’ at a recent awards ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The award was presented to the College for their new Creative Learning Leadership Group (CLLG) which according to the judges demonstrated innovation and originality, enhancing the learner journey.
A delighted Hugh said:
“I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Board to congratulate the College for another excellent achievement in winning this TES UK award. I am only too well aware of all the fantastic, life enhancing work that that goes on day-to-day within the College and it is hugely satisfying to see the efforts of our team being recognised at a national level through this award.
“This is just one of several major UK wide awards that the College has won over the last few years and the Board and I are enormously proud of what Principal Dr Ken Thomson and his talented and dedicated staff are doing. We are confident that they will continue to bring forward great new ideas to enhance the student experience and to ‘Make Learning Work’ at Forth Valley College.”

The College was also short-listed for ‘Employer Engagement’ and ‘Apprenticeship Programme of the Year’ Awards.
