Forth Valley College were presented with a bronze award at the recent College Development Network (CDN) Marketing Awards.
This year’s Marketing Awards were held at a Gala Dinner at Ghillie Dhu in Edinburgh on Thursday 9 March, 2017 – the annual event celebrates the many communications and marketing projects and initiatives taking place in colleges the length and breadth of Scotland.
FVC were shortlisted with City of Glasgow College and New College Lanarkshire for the Students’ Award for Website and finished in third position.
FVC’s new mobile responsive website was launched on 29 September 2016 – which has enabled the College to streamline its online presence and offer an enhanced user experience.
Lyndsay Condie Head of FVC’s Communications and Marketing Department, said: “It is always great to be shortlisted for this CDN award, especially as it is the category that is chosen by a panel of students. This nomination also means a lot to us as it comes just six months since the completion of our new website and really gives us something to build on for the future. We have a passion for making a real difference to our learners and it’s fantastic to have been recognised throughout the sector with this nomination, despite missing out of the top award.”
