HND Contemporary Art Practice second year students from Forth Valley College are exhibiting their work at a special show at the Tolbooth Theatre in Stirling.

Kathrhona Lawson, Lou Carberry, Annette Laing, Carolyn Fraser, Claire Laird, Brooklyn Bell and Scott Beresford have provided work for the exhibition called Journey, organised in association with Future Artists Scotland.

The opening night was held on Tuesday 12 November  and was attended by Councillor Evelyn Tweed from Stirling Council. The exhibition will run until Thursday 21 November and will be open to the public from 10am - 6pm each day.

Carolyn Fraser, said: “I liked working collaboratively as a team and I felt a sense of pride with the finished exhibition.”

Lou Carberry, said: “I realised how much support I have.”

Scott Beresford, said: “It gave me an insight into how to put it all together and it was less scary than I thought, having unknown people looking at my art.”

Brooklyn Bell, said: “It was nice to get positive feedback about my work.”

Kathrhona Lawson, said: “It was a fantastic experience. There’s a lot of detail that goes into planning and executing an exhibition and the result was a great team effort. The very individual and diverse interpretations on the theme of Journey stand out in this exhibition.”
