Art and Design graduates show their work
Tolbooth exhibition

An exhibition of artwork by honours year students at the University of Stirling is currently on display at the city’s Tolbooth venue.

Entitled ’10 / 4’, the exhibition opened on Thursday (17 January). It showcases the work of nine artists who graduated with a BA in Art and Design from Forth Valley College in the summer of 2018.

As part of an articulation agreement between Forth Valley College and the University of Stirling, the students were eligible to undertake a further year of study at the University to achieve a BA (Honours) in Arts and Design.

The artists, Lesleyann McGlennon, Dawn McLaren, Lorraine St Arnaud, Jemma Peebles, Stephanie Reid, Lucinda Ferguson, Lia McGregor, Louise Butler and Ellie Hendrie are now halfway through their year at the University and are due to graduate in June.

The artworks on show range from installation and sculpture to mixed media, design and illustration and explore a range of personal and contemporary themes. The works were created during a practice-based module at Forth Valley College.

The exhibition runs until Thursday 24 January. Normal opening times will be 10am-6pm.
