Three students on the HND Computer Aided Architectural Design & Technology course at Forth Valley College drew up plans for an architectural showcase recently.
Stephen Adams from Falkirk, Corey Hay from Tullibody and Aileen Liddell from Torphichen, were all selected from 11 in their group to display their Graded Unit projects in the reception area of the College’s Falkirk Campus after impressing their lecturer with their designs for a nursery at Callendar Park in Falkirk.
Lecturer Ian McRae said, “These students have gone above and beyond the brief and really pushed the boundaries. This exhibition is an opportunity to showcase the excellent quality of their work and also show others what the HND Computer Aided Architectural Design and Technology course involves.”
Aileen, said, “I have had an interesting and informative two years at Forth Valley College and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.”
Her classmate Stephen, said: “I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process to design a nursery for staff, students and 30 kids. It was a lot of hard work but fun too. The best bit for me was the designing of the building and then making the model.”
Corey, added: “I really enjoyed creating something unique and realistic from just a single idea of creating a nursery for the college to be situated within Callendar Park.”
