Topics include understanding the tactics used by perpetrators, dispelling myths, and learning practical steps for supporting victims. You'll also connect with local support services and resources to aid your efforts in safeguarding communities from digital blackmail.
This event is open to all professionals, practitioners, and community members committed to raising awareness and fostering safety in our digital world. We encourage you to join us for this empowering discussion and to spread the word within your network.

Tuesday 10 December – Become a White Ribbon Speaker - (12.45pm – 1.30pm, MS Teams)
Join us for an information session led by Davy Thompson, Director of WRS, on becoming a White Ribbon Speaker.
White Ribbon Speakers are trained to hold speaking events in support of the campaign’s work. An ‘event’ doesn’t need to be speaking to an audience of 50+ people, it could be speaking to a class group or an even smaller group of men and boys, or even having 1-1 conversations. The training will equip you with the skills, knowledge and language required to have effective conversations that aim to change harmful attitudes and behaviours that perpetuate VAW.
The College is currently looking for 15 volunteers to become white ribbon speakers – if you are interested in attending the information session, please register your interest here.

Various resources will also be shared with staff and students across the campaign.
Please show your support and get involved.
