With our open evenings fast approaching, here’s some reasons you might want to pop along:
You can’t decide what you want to do with your life
Engineering or childcare? Sport or make-up artistry? Full-time course or Modern Apprenticeship? Perhaps a degree? With so many options, it’s no wonder it can be difficult to choose your next step. Come along to our open evenings and arm yourself with all the information you need to make an informed choice about your future.
There’s probably more on offer than you think
It’s not all about full-time routes – we’ll also have lots of information on different study options available such as flexible learning programmes or Foundation Apprenticeships aimed at school pupils. Plus, if August next year seems like a long way off and you can’t wait to get started – you can also find out about courses starting in January/February 2018.
With something for everyone, it’s definitely worth nipping in for a quick visit to check out what’s available.
You’re not sure you have the qualifications you need
You know what you want to do…you’re just not sure you have the entry requirements to get on the course. Our open evenings offer the opportunity for you to chat to representatives from our teaching departments and find out exactly what you need to get on the course – so if you don’t yet have the qualifications you can at least work towards them. Or they might be able to suggest an alternative pathway to the one you were considering.
Money, money, money…
…is something people have lots of questions about. Find out about all the different types of funding out there and what support you could be eligible for.
You think you might need some extra support
Applying to college needn’t be daunting. Whether you’ll need some additional support due to a physical or mental health issue or feel you would benefit from improving your study skills – there’s lots of help available at the College. Discover the range of options available at the open evenings.
You’ll find employers with live MA vacancies
So you’ve decided you want to opt for a Modern Apprenticeship? Come along to our Falkirk event and find a range of employers currently recruiting for apprentices and find out everything you need to know if you want to apply.
