Learning Resource Service and Flexible Learning

The Learning Resource Centres are available to students but with reduced numbers due to physical distancing requirements on some of our campuses. Students should be advised that access to IT facilities and study areas will be on an appointment basis. For students requiring to borrow a book, they should be directed to browse the online catalogue in the first instance and then order the book via a click and collect service. A drop off area has been set up on each campus for books being returned.

PCs and study space can be booked by emailing the Learning Service Team at learning@forthvalley.ac.uk or by contacting them through the Ask the Learning Services Team.

The Scottish Government Check In App is in place to support Test and Protect (paper based system also available for those without smartphones).

Time4Me

The Time4Me Mentoring Service continues to run as normal. Referrals should be made using the standard referral form. Training will be provided for all mentors prior to starting any mentoring relationships.   Please email the team for further information.

Support & Guidance Advisors

There will be a Support & Guidance Advisor based on each of the campuses and they will continue to offer the same service. A face-to-face service is available but students should ideally make contact via phone, email or Teams to make an appointment before visiting the service.
