HND Hospitality Management

The possibilities and opportunities to work within the Hospitality industry are vast.  It is a very exciting place to be, with many employment opportunities.  A qualification like this, will enhance your knowledge and skills, and make you more employable.

This course aims to equip students with a wide range of supervisory and managerial skills required for a career in the hospitality industry. It will promote an awareness and understanding of business principles and how they relate to the industry. This course will include human resources, finance, communication, and will develop interpersonal skills.

Students will benefit from work experience throughout the programme, in our industry leading training restaurant.

On successful completion of this course students may progress onto a related degree programme.

Forth Valley College has formal articulation links in place for entry into year 3 of the following degree programmes:

  • BA (Hons) International Hospitality & Tourism Management- Queen Margaret University
  • BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management - Edinburgh Napier
  • BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management - Robert Gordon University

    Please note articulation links are subject to change and do not guarantee a place on any university course. Students can still apply for entry to year 1 or 2 of many of these degree programmes and should check with individual universities for more detail. Each institution will have specific entry requirements.

One of the following:

  • Two Highers at grade C or above and National 4 qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Successful completion of a relevant access course or an appropriate group of National Qualification units
  • Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant experience or alternative qualifications will be considered
