The Skills for Work: Hospitality National 5 is an exciting course which aims to give a broad introduction to hospitality. There will be opportunities to do some cooking, work front of house and run some events as part of a team.
The deadline for applications is Friday 19 April 2024 but early applications are encouraged.

This course is designed to give an introduction into the world of working in Hospitality, and would give valuable experience if students wanted to pursue a career working front of house or in the kitchen.

Please note that only secondary school pupils staying on at school and who will be starting S4, S5 or S6 in August 2024 are eligible to apply for this course.
Pupils will have achieved 4 x Nat 4 including English and Maths and working towards Nat 5 preferably.
An interest in Hospitality is essential, as well as an ability to work well on your own and as part of a team.

• Please include as much detail as possible in your personal statement such as; the reason you are applying, future career plans, relevant experience, hobbies and interests
• Disclosing support needs in your application will not affect your chances of being offered a place on a course at Forth Valley College
• If your application is successful, you will be invited to an information session
• If your application is unsuccessful, you should speak to a guidance teacher or SDS school liaison officer.
