City & Guilds Nail Enhancement & Design Techniques Level 3

This course aims to provide a thorough training and education in nail services, allowing students to understand all the principles and applications associated with this rapidly growing industry. Students will develop technical skills in a range of techniques in addition to gaining communication and business skills.

  • Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
  • Enhance and maintain nails using UV Gel
  • Enhance and maintain nails using liquid and powder
  • Plan and create nail images
  • Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
  • Develop a range of creative nail images

  • Beauty salon/nail bar work in the UK and abroad
  • Work on passenger liners
  • Technical Representatives
  • Theatre/television/fashion and photographic work
  • Health and leisure clubs

  • HND Make-Up Artistry

One of the following:

  • SVQ/NVQ Level 2 Nail Services
  • NC Beauty Care
  • A relevant industry enhancement qualification
