This course will be delivered virtually using Microsoft Teams.
This secure web based environment will enable you to fully participate in all class based activities and interact with the tutor and other candidates.

To paticipate in this course you will require a web camera or built in front facing camera on your laptop or PC as well as good internet connectivity. We would also recommend candidates have a comfortable and ergonomic seating arrangement in a room with minimal background noise.

This course was updated in July 2018 and is the latest update to wiring regulations and is an essential qualification for anyone working in the electrical industry.

If you're a practising electrician, you must comply with the regulations for electrical work, by the 1st of July 2019

This course forms the national standard to which all new and amended electrical installations in the UK are to comply.

Please note The 18th Edition BS 7671:2018 – Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations book is included in the price of the course.

There are no formal entry requirements although candidates will require a basic knowledge of electrical installation and principles.

These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671).

Please note: there is one open-book online examination which is based on BS7671-18 and not just the changes from previous editions and this will be for the 1 & 3-day courses.
