NC Media

This course offers an excellent introduction to the media industries. It is designed to develop skills in both practical and theoretical aspects of media: students will develop practical skills in video, radio and events as well as being supported to explore and understand all aspects of the media industry and how it works.

Students will also develop creativity and communication skills through engagement with the creative process and practical projects.

One of the following:

  • Four National 4 awards (or equivalent) including English
  • Successful completion of an Access to Creative Industries course
  • Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant experience or alternative qualifications will be considered

• If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview. For January start courses interviews will be in Nov/Dec and interviews for August start courses will take place between February and May
• If your application is unsuccessful, you will be offered support in finding a suitable alternative course
