NC Creative Industries

This innovative course will give students the opportunity to further develop their creativity and skills across the areas of photography, graphic design, sound production, media, and art and design.

The course is highly practical and is delivered through a series of creative projects which are designed to prepare students for study in a specialist area, while giving them experience and an appreciation of a wide range of creative disciplines.

Successful completion of this course will allow progression to an NC or HN level course in one of the specialist areas.

One of the following:

  • Three National 4 awards (or equivalent)
  • NQ Access to Creative Industries
  • A portfolio of work showing aptitude for one or more of the areas covered by the course
  • Applicants who do not meet these criteria, but have relevant experience or alternative qualifications will be considered

• If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview. For January start courses interviews will be in Nov/Dec and interviews for August start courses will take place between February and May
• If your application is unsuccessful, you will be offered support in finding a suitable alternative course
