  • HND Hospitality Management

    The possibilities and opportunities to work within the Hospitality industry are vast.  It is a very exciting place to be, with many employment opportunities.  A qualification like this, will enhance your knowledge and skills, and make you more employable.

    This course aims to equip students with a wide range of supervisory and managerial skills required for a career in the hospitality industry. It will promote an awareness and understanding of business principles and how they relate to the industry. This course will include human resources, finance, communication, and will develop interpersonal skills.

    Students will benefit from work experience throughout the programme, in our industry leading training restaurant.

  • Hospitality Operations - Level 5

    This exciting course will provide candidates with a clear understanding of the role and application of the skills required in the hospitality sector. The course focuses on developing the practical skills necessary to thrive in the industry, including food and beverage service, barista, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and customer care.

    This course will act as a pathway into employment or progression onto our HND Hospitality Management programme (SCQF 7).

  • Hospitality Services - Level 4

    This practical, hands-on course is designed to allow students to gain the skills they need to deliver a great casual dining experience. During this 6 month course, you will be based in our busy Falkirk or Stirling Refectory, which caters for hundreds of staff and students per day.  This is a practical, intensive course – you will gain experience in our highly rated, state of the art refectory, learning from our experienced team.

    This course provides entry-level experience for those students who would like to progress to our level 5 Hospitality Operations qualification based at our Stirling Campus, and those wishing a career in the casual dining sector of the hospitality industry.

    This course will develop your employability skills and give you the opportunity to learn and perfect your skills in a positive environment.

    Please note, this is a practical, intensive course and you will be expected on campus 3 full days per week. 

  • SfW Hospitality (Schools)

    ***PLEASE NOTE - only pupils who will be at school during session 2024/25 can apply for this course***

    The Skills for Work: Hospitality National 5 is an exciting course which aims to give a broad introduction to hospitality.  There will be opportunities to do some cooking, work front of house and run some events as part of a team.

    The deadline for applications is Friday 19 April 2024 but early applications are encouraged.
