  • 6502 City and Guilds Award in Education & Training

    The Level 3 Award in Education and Training is an introduction to teaching that will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training, how to plan and deliver inclusive training sessions and how to assess and give constructive feedback.

    Using ITA?

  • 7300 City & Guilds Introduction to Trainer skills

    Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will be delivered on-campus with reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.

    This course aims to provide delegates with an introduction to the concepts of a systematic approach to training. This is an intensive course designed to be delivered over two days and it is ideal for anyone thinking about becoming a trainer or anyone who trains others in organisations.

  • BIIAB Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders

    This BIIAB alcohol licensing qualification supports those working in the licensed trade in Scotland. It allows individuals to show that they can work responsibly and that they understand how the licensing process applies to their jobs.

Once you’ve applied for funding, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to book your course.

    Please note ITA funding for this course should not be applied for until your place is secured.

  • BIIAB Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (Refresher)

    This BIIAB alcohol licensing qualification supports those working in the licensed trade in Scotland. They allow individuals to show that they can work responsibly and that they understand how the licensing process applies to their jobs.

    All Personal licence holders must complete refresher training within five years of the date that their licence was issued.  They then must produce evidence of having completed the refresher training to the Licensing Board that issued their Personal Licence no later three months after this deadline. A certificate of achievement for the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (Refresher) qualification is the recognised way of doing this.

  • CIPD Diploma in People Management

    Please note that due to COVID-19, our CIPD courses will be delivered remotely. 
    We continue to review on an on-going basis and update our students as and when government restrictions ease.

    This qualification builds on the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice and is aimed at further expanding learners’ independent practice to enable them to evolve into more senior roles within organisations as people professionals.

    Learners’ work will be mainly operational with some complexity. They will contribute to the thinking around their work, analysing information to inform choices and actions. Working with and influencing others through their work will create short-term value for a wider audience.

    Using a framework of HR and L&D understanding, behaviours and skills development, this qualification offers opportunity for learners to transition to employment as people managers

    This course replaces the Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management. 

    The course is equivalent to SCQF Level 9.

    Cost of course - £1750

    Fees include course textbook provision and online resources (Emerald Database).
    In addition, CIPD membership is a requirement. Students pay this cost directly to CIPD.
