Arrivals: Skills for Airline and Airport Operations (SCQF 5)- Schools

This new and exciting course provides an insight into the world of travel, tourism and hospitality. You will gain a wide range of transferrable skills to equip you for employment in this vibrant sector.

The course will provide the necessary skills and knowledge to prepare you for employment within aviation and ground operations in airports, in addition, you will explore the skills required to be a resort representative. You will be introduced to the different styles of resort work, with key knowledge relating to performing airport transfers and resort welcome meetings.

BIIAB Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders

This BIIAB alcohol licensing qualification supports those working in the licensed trade in Scotland. It allows individuals to show that they can work responsibly and that they understand how the licensing process applies to their jobs.

Once you’ve applied for funding, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to book your course.

CIPD Diploma in People Management

This qualification builds on the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice and is aimed at further expanding learners’ independent practice to enable them to evolve into more senior roles within organisations as people professionals.

Learners’ work will be mainly operational with some complexity. They will contribute to the thinking around their work, analysing information to inform choices and actions. Working with and influencing others through their work will create short-term value for a wider audience.

Using a framework of HR and L&D understanding, behaviours and skills development, this qualification offers opportunity for learners to transition to employment as people managers

This course replaces the Intermediate Certificate in Human Resource Management. 

The course is equivalent to SCQF Level 9.

CIPD Diploma in Strategic People Management

This qualification further extends the disciplines and scope learned in the CIPD Level 5 (equivalent to SCQF level 8/9) Associate Diploma in People Management and is aimed at intensifying learners’ autonomy and judgement so that they can strategically lead and direct organisations and their people. It offers the opportunity for learners to influence people practitioners and organisations.

The course is equivalent to SCQF Level 11.

Please note this is a 2 year programme and the cost is £2,500 per year. 
You apply for year 1 and pay prior to commencement of your course. 
Year 2 fees will be payable when your year 2 enrolment is being processed. (Although you can also, should you wish, pay the full 2 year programme upfront).

City & Guilds Introduction to Hair and Beauty - SCQF Level 4 (SCHOOLS)
