  • 18th Edition City & Guilds 2382-18 - Evening

    Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will be delivered on-campus with reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.

    This course was updated in July 2018 and is the latest update to wiring regulations and is an essential qualification for anyone working in the electrical industry.

    If you're a practising electrician, you must comply with the regulations for electrical work, by the 1st of July 2019

    This course forms the national standard to which all new and amended electrical installations in the UK are to comply.

    Dates are as follows:

    • Tuesday 2 February 2021
    • Thursday 4 February 2021
    • Tuesday 9 February 2021
    • Thursday 11 February 2021
    • Tuesday 16 February 2021
    • Thursday 18 February 2021

    The exam will be held on Tuesday 23 February 2021.

    Course times are 5.30pm - 8.30pm each evening

    Using ITA?

    This course is eligible for ITA funding. If you wish to use ITA funding towards the cost of this course, you must first apply for the ITA funding through the My World of Work website. Once you’ve applied for funding, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to book your course.

  • Basic Plumbing Skills - Evening

    Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will be delivered on-campus with reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.

    This is a practical course to equip participants with the basic plumbing skills and techniques required for plumbing home maintenance.

  • Can't Cook, Must Eat - Evening

    Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will be delivered on-campus with reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.

    This course is aimed at people who consider themselves beginners in the culinary world and who would like to develop and learn new skills. The course has been designed to help participants create and cook nutritious meals on a small budget.

    *Please note if you are filling out this application on behalf of someone else please use their details (for example, son or daughter).

    This course will be delivered on Thursday evenings.

  • Certificate in Women's Hairdressing - City & Guilds VRQ Level 2 - Evening

    Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will be delivered on-campus with reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.

    This is a certificated VRQ qualification in Women's Hairdressing at Level 2. The duration of the course is two years - delivered one evening per week. There will be both practical and written assessments.

    This course will be delivered on Tuesday evenings.

  • Chemistry - Higher - Evening

    Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will be delivered on-campus with reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.

    This course covers the key areas relating to chemistry and consists of various units and an external SQA examination.

    If you are interested in studying a higher, please contact eveninginfo@forthvalley.ac.uk.

    A deposit of £105 will be required to secure your place on the course.  You will also need your Bank name, Sort Code and Bank account number to set up direct debit.
