Mark Hume (27) from Glasgow recently won the Most Promising Student in Business and Communities at the Falkirk Town Hall graduation ceremony.
He graduated with a HNC Working with Communities and has been accepted to go on to study Community Education at the University of Glasgow.
Mark, said: “I choose to study at Forth Valley College on the HNC Working With Communities course as I was offered an unconditional straight away from the phone call interview, and decided I’d be ok with the drive to and from the College.
“The lecturers are incredibly helpful and want you to do well in life and understand the course content, they are always offering help to everyone. The facilities were also great and easy to use.
“Studying at the College gave me a wider understanding of the content of the course and a more global appreciation of the qualification and content within. Forth Valley College also supported me through every step of applying to university, and showed the best places to find different jobs within the acquired field and opportunities available, which was great.
“I would recommend the College and the course as the lecturers fully understand the subject and want to help you understand it to the best of your abilities. They help you work through any potential issues you may have to give you a good college experience. The best bit for me has been working with some great people!
“I would recommend potential student to Choose College as you’ll experience more than you anticipate and get a clearer understanding of the world within the area you study.
“The reason why I #Lovescotlandscolleges is how well the lecturers try to get to know you, to understand how to help you achieve what you’re capable of and more!”
