Malinda Garibotti-Cassidy (32) from Stirling, recently completed her Hairdressing Level 2 qualification at the Raploch Salon.
She now runs her own business called HairbyMali, in Baker Street, Stirling.
Malinda, said: “I chose to study at Forth Valley College as it has a great reputation and it was local. It is a great place and the lecturers were always supportive and approachable.
“The course and the College taught me all the basics in hairdressing and how to get started as a hairdresser on my own. I put into practice what I learned and now have a very busy business, which I love.
“I have already recommended the College to many people including my sister who has just finished studying at FVC. The best bit for me was making a lot of friends – I loved that. It was a really good course and I loved all the practical days in the commercial salon. I met a lot of lovely clients who are still clients to this day.”
Summing up her Forth Valley College experience in three words, Malinda, said: “Fun, fruitful, rewarding.”
