Gary Tait (25) from Camelon, Falkirk studied various levels of Accounting at Forth Valley College before completing his HND.
He said: “I chose to study at Forth Valley College as it was the closest college available and I had heard good things about it from friends. FVC has great lecturers and the facilities have improved significantly with the opening of the new Falkirk campus.
“My experience of studying at the College really benefited me because it helped me unlock skills within me that I did not know I had. Multiple opportunities came up for me in my second year of accounting. I am currently working in an accounting environment, and without college this would not have been possible.
“I would recommend FVC because it really is a great opportunity for people to learn new skills and grow as a person. The lecturers really do give 100% to ensure you achieve your full potential.
“For me, the best bit was just attending college and doing the work. Being in college and doing the work gives you a bit of relief from normal working life, but it’s also rewarding because you know you are paving the way for a brighter future.
“I would recommend college because it is a great learning experience. If you put in a bit of effort you will reap the rewards. Mostly I’d recommend FVC because of the atmosphere the college generates and the lecturers, they really do work hard to ensure students reach their full potential.
Summing up his experience at Forth Valley College in three words, Gary, said: “Life changing experience.”
