Helping local businesses across the Forth Valley Region to develop their workforce
In December 2016 the Scottish Government announced the introduction of the Flexible Workforce Development Fund (FWDF) to provide Apprenticeship Levy-paying employers with workforce development training to upskill and reskill their existing workforce. Since it was piloted in 2017-18 the fund has expanded to allow small and medium enterprises (SME) to benefit from training, and from 2022-23 both Levy-payers and SMEs can access all available training routes. Helping local businesses across the Forth Valley Region to develop their workforce.
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic we have developed a range of courses that can be delivered virtually. These courses are facilitated by one of our experienced trainers and are as interactive as their in-person alternative.
- Apprentice Levy paying organisations are entitled to access up to £15,000
- SMEs are entitled to access up to £5,000 per round of funding
- Funding is aimed at addressing organisational skill gaps, improving workplace productivity and supporting employers to adapt to the impact of Covid-19
- Eligible organisations can apply for FWDF 22-23 funding only once per funding year
