Why FVC
Forth Valley College is my local college and I knew a bit about the courses that were offered through links with my school. I initially wanted to do teaching but didn't get the grades I needed to get into the University courses so I decided to apply for college and try to get more experience and knowledge behind me before I moved onto University.
Favorite moment
Going out on placements and getting to see first hand what it is like working with children, putting into practice what we had learned.
Chosen Career
Teaching - I am now moving onto University of the West of Scotland to study Childhood Studies and I am really looking forward to it!
Expected
To meet new people and learn more about the different needs of children.
Unexpected
How demanding the course is, you don't realize how much work goes into ensuring how children learn and play.
