Why FVC:
FVC was my local college and the HNC I wanted to do was available at the Stirling Campus which mad it ideal for me.
Favourite Moment:
We had been briefed by lecturers that the Graded Unit part of our course would be very tough to complete so passing that and getting an 'A' for it has to be my favourite moment.
Chosen Career:
I have just landed a job with Falkirk Council as an Early Years Officer and am looking forward to starting there soon. So my HNC has come in really useful.
Expected:
I had already been to University and have a degree in Biology so I had been through the student thing before, but I knew the course at FVC would be hard work. It was really worthwhile and you get out it what you put in.
Unexpected:
I really did not expect to meet so many great people and make as many new close friends as I have over the past year.
AOQ:
The staff at Stirling have been excellent, especially the girls in the library who couldn't have been more helpful. You can approach anyone and if they couldn't help they would find someone who could. I would definitely recommend the college to anyone as it really prepares you for the working world.
