Why FVC:
Staying in Grangemouth FVC is within easy reach of my home and it offered the courses that I wanted.
Favourite Moment:
Basically I feel that to be here at FVC after so many years and starting all over again to learn more in a tongue that is not even my own, is a favourite moment every day I attend. Next year to continue on a higher course is even better- you can't beat that.
Chosen Career:
One day I would like to go into international finance. I am fluent in German, Danish and English and feel I can put this to good use along with the skills I learn in numeracy, business and accountancy at FVC.
Expected:
I knew very little about Scottish education when I came over here, but I did expect it to be quite different from what I was used to.
Unexpected:
I didn't expect the college to have as much to offer as it has - it is great and I am really happy to be studying here.
AOQ:
I was the Equalities and Diversity Officer at the Student Union last term and I really enjoyed it. I hope to continue in some role again this year. FVC is great and everyone from the staff and support staff really genuinely want the students to pass their courses successfully.
