HND Applied Biological Sciences

Why FVC:

The only other college to offer the course I wanted was in Glasgow and I did not want to travel that far - FVC was the perfect location for me.

Favourite Moment:

I really liked doing all the World of Work days and Christmas Workshops where you get the chance to show school kids how to do experiments.

Chosen Career:

I am going to Strathclyde University in August to do a degree in Immunology and Biochemistry and I am looking forward to that, but eventually I would like to work in a research lab.

Expected:

I expected to be  a wee bit nervous when I first started as I didn't know anything about the course or the college before I started, but that quickly disappeared and I settled in.

Unexpected:

Climbing up three flights of stairs each day to get to my classrooms. I must have climbed thousands of feet in height in the time I have been here - that's a good few Munros!

AOQ:

All the staff were very friendly and helpful  and I would recommend the place to any student. FVC has really given me a good grounding and has prepared me for going to university. It has also equipped me with essential employability skills which is important in the job market.
