HND CAD
I had been in my third year at Heriot-Watt University studying investment banking, but had sustained a serious head injury and was unable to continue. After a long recovery, last year I was looking for a new direction career wise and looking for a course which I thought would offer me the best opportunities of finding a job. I had heard very good things about the CAD course at FVC and the info in the prospectus was brilliant so that's why I chose FVC.
I have really enjoyed the whole year - but winning the prize for CAD has capped it all off especially as I knew next to nothing about computers when I started.
I would like to work abroad and do something involving travel.
I had never done any computer work before I started so I expected the course to be quite a challenge. However if you are willing to put the work in the lecturing staff really help to bring you up to standard.
I had been to university before so had already learned the ropes of student life - so to speak. I certainly didn't expect to win the prize for CAD at the end of the year.
On the Cad course there was a very friendly atmosphere and even though you obviously give the lecturers the respect they deserve, you can also speak to them as a friend when you need to.
