All teaching departments in the college have Learner Development Workers (LDW’s), who are there to provide you with support and guidance. Your LDW will support you throughout your course by making sure you are settling in and getting to know all the people and services that might help.
In addition LDW’s:
- Act as a link between you and other services
- Facilitate a variety of workshops to support you in your learning and development
- Monitor attendance patterns and discuss areas of concern
