Learners on a wide range of courses flocked to the state-of-the-art campus ready to kick start their studies.
Their first day was a major milestone in the college’s new estates strategy which also includes a new campus in Stirling due to open next year.
The college’s vision is to create facilities which meet the needs of the 21st century learner and their efforts seem to have hit the mark with students. There was glowing feedback all round from learners as they explored the bright, modern campus fully kitted out with all the latest resources.
Mhairi Dawson (20, Clackmannan) starting on the Lifestart course was one of the first learners through the doors. She said: “The new campus is nice and stylish. I’m feeling pretty good about studying here.”
Carol Sever (38, Plean) on the City& Guilds SVQ Level 2/3 Nail Services said: “It’s really smart, I love it. I can’t wait to have a proper look around.”
Lewis Morrison (16, Dunblane) on the NQ Introduction to Construction Craft Skills said: “The new campus is great, I really like it. It’s so much better than the old one.”
Grant Sleith (18, Alloa) on the NC Art and Design said: “It’s really nice. Everything is modern and new and there’s lots of technology.”
