Three more Forth Valley College Bistro @ The Campus Hospitality students have successfully secured full-time employment in Stirling’s service industry.
Rebecca Fulton (18) and Amy McAlpine (19) both from Denny and Emmie Burt (19) from Fallin have all landed jobs working with the Sodexho run Haldane’s Restaurant at the McRobert Centre.
Emmie and Rebecca both trainee chef’s successfully completed a Modern Apprenticeship (MA) SVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery and front of house student Amy passed her MA SVQ Food and Beverage Service Level 2 while training at the popular Bistro @ The Campus facility at the Raploch Community Campus.
Amy, said: “I have had a great time here at Raploch and it has been extremely worthwhile as I have got a job at the end of it.”
Rebecca added: “I’ve enjoyed myself here and made loads of new friends and I would not have found a job without completing a course like this.”
Bistro @ The Campus Head Chef Shaune Hall, said:
“We are delighted that Emmie, Rebecca and Amy have all found full-time employment on the back of completing their courses here at Raploch. However, it’s not really a great surprise as they are hard-working and dedicated individuals. I am confident they will do very well in the hospitality industry for years to come.”
