The new full-time president was shown round last week ahead of the official key hand-over ceremony from Miller Construction to College Principal Linda McKay (Thursday July 28th), and she was impressed by the new learning environment which students will be entering in September.
Kathleen (27), a former HNC Early Years Education and Childcare student at the college, said: “It looks absolutely amazing. I must say it really fits the bill and I really do think students will be very happy here – it’ll be a great place to learn.
“The inside is really spacious and bright and the views are fantastic. I can just imagine students doing well in these classrooms and there are areas for flexible and private study which students will really enjoy using.
“The building has a relaxing feel to it and is very welcoming, I believe students will have a lot to look forward to here. I know I will certainly look forward to coming here throughout the coming year.
“The building is in a prime location and has also enhanced Alloa town centre even more. Student's will be right in the centre of town now and close to many different services and amenities. I really feel the new campus will also benefit students’ health and wellbeing. I can’t wait for the new term.”
