Bricklayer Mark McLelland (22) from Fauldhouse was awarded the Overall Apprentice of the Year gong to go with his best 3rd Year Apprentice award and plumber Jamie Kerr (19) from Bathgate scooped the Michael Clark award.
Mark said: “I was really surprised, but delighted to have won the award. The college and the lecturers have really helped me with their experience and knowledge.”
Danny Houston, Curriculum Quality Leader (CQL) in Construction, said: “Both Mark and Jamie have worked really hard while on the Modern Apprenticeship courses at the college and also putting what they have learned into practice with their employers West Lothian Council.
“It comes as no surprise to me that they have been recognised in this way and I am sure they will have a successful career ahead of them.”
